How I can help
You do not need a diagnosis or a perfectly formed explanation to get in touch. These themes are a starting point, not a checklist of who you need to be.
Space for the many forms of loss, including caring, cancer and end-of-life experiences.
Exploring how developmental, relational or later experiences may still shape the present.
Making sense of fear, pressure and patterns that can leave life feeling smaller.
Looking at connection, boundaries, conflict, confidence and the way you relate to yourself.
A non-judgemental place to explore substance use, coping and the possibility of change.
Working with depression, identity, difficult transitions and questions about what matters.
The introductory call helps us think about fit and whether my experience matches what you need. If another kind of support would be safer or more suitable, I will say so openly.
My approach
I’m a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor. My work is collaborative and relationship-led, with warmth, honesty and care at its centre.
We can pay attention not only to what has happened, but to how it feels to be you now. I may sometimes gently challenge a familiar perception or invite a question, while respecting that you remain the person who knows your own life best.
I work integratively and draw particularly on relational therapy and logotherapy — an approach that considers love, hope, responsibility, meaning and the freedom we have in how we respond to life.

Experience & training
My experience includes five years supporting bereaved people with Cruse Bereavement Care, including two years supervising bereavement volunteers; five years volunteering with Sobell House Hospice in Oxford; and work as an addiction counsellor with Phoenix Futures.
Registered with BACP, ACC and NCPS

Fees & practicalities
I will confirm the current fee and appointment times, ongoing session length, frequency, payment and cancellation terms before we book.
Frequently asked
We can start with a 15-minute introductory conversation. You do not need to tell me your whole story; it is simply a chance to ask questions, talk briefly about what brings you here and consider whether working together feels right.
I offer face-to-face counselling in Oxford OX2, online sessions by Zoom and telephone sessions. I keep my full practice address private online and share the details when we arrange an in-person appointment.
I offer short-term, longer-term and time-limited work. We can think together about what may suit you, review how the work is feeling and agree how we will approach an ending.
I treat what you share with care and work within professional ethical responsibilities. Confidentiality has legal, ethical and safeguarding limits, which I will explain clearly before we begin.
My practice is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent mental health help that is not an emergency, use NHS 111 online or call 111 and select the mental health option.
